Description

In December 2019, coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), caused by a novel coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2), originated in Wuhan, China, and quickly spread around the world. Little information is available on the clinical features and immunological profile of COVID-19 in pediatrics. The clinical features and treatment outcomes of twelve pediatric patients with a confirmed diagnosis of COVID-19 were analyzed. The immunological characteristics of sick children were studied and compared with twenty adult patients. The median age was 14.5 years (0.64 to 17 years), and six patients were male. The average incubation period was 8 days.
