DEPICTION OF THE FEMALE PSYCHE IN THE NOVELS OF THE PERIOD OF INDEPENDENCE

This article talks about the literary sources dedicated to the portrait of the female spirit in the romance of the period of independence of Uzbekistan. The author analyzes various works of Uzbek literature and identifies common features in the image of women in romance. Traditional ideas about the Uzbek woman and the controversial image of a modern woman faced with new problems in the modern world are described. In the article, some romances and their authors, which are distinguished by their unique interpretation of the female portrait in Uzbek literature, are considered separately.
