Abstract

This article examines the history and tragic fate of the love of Otabek and Kumushbibi in the novel "Bygone days". " Bygone days " is the first novel in Uzbek literature, which describes the period of the history of the Uzbek people and unfolds against the bloody background of the struggle of local rulers for power. But at the same time with these events, the writer draws the reader's attention to pure, selfless and tragic love. It is this love of the heroes that makes the reader think deeply about true humanity..
