AGE-RELATED DEVELOPMENT OF MOVEMENT SKILLS IN ELEMENTARY GRADES
Keywords:
growth of a child according to age, physiological change, speed of muscle growth, growth of ontogenetic processesAbstract
Compared to many other tissues, muscle tissue is not fully developed before birth, so it grows at an earlier rate relative to age. From the time of birth to the beginning of maturation, its mass increases 37 times, and the total mass of the body increases only 21 times. The proportion of muscular components in the total mass of the body grows slowly during childhood, and it grows rapidly during puberty. Due to the acceleration of development, the period of puberty in boys has shifted much earlier to 12-15 years of age, and the percentage of muscle components in the total body mass has grown steadily.
