Abstract

This paper explores the literary and thematic connections between two prominent Uzbek poets, Erkin Vohidov and Alexander Faynberg. Despite their different linguistic and cultural backgrounds—Vohidov writing primarily in Uzbek and Faynberg being a bilingual poet working in both Uzbek and Russian—their poetry shares common themes, including national identity, historical memory, and philosophical reflections on human existence. The study examines how both poets contributed to Uzbek literature, how their works reflect shared concerns about cultural heritage, and how their poetic styles complement each other.
