In this article, the author reveals the historical aspects of the change in the political consciousness of young people. It is indicated that the history of the political consciousness of the youth of Uzbekistan is a complex and multifaceted process in which elements of the Soviet past, national revival, economic and political reforms of the period of New Uzbekistan, as well as the influence of globalization and information technology are intertwined.
