Oziq-ovqat bo’yoqlari bizning kundalik hayotimizda keng tarqalgan, ular oziq-ovqat va ichimliklarga qo’shilayotgan tabiiy va sintetik mahsulotlardir. Ular suyuq, kukun, gel va pasta ko’rinishida bo’lishi mumkun.Ular hidga ega emas va faqatgina meyoriy dozlar inson tanasi uchun deyarli zararsizdir. Oziq-ovqat bo‘yoqlari E-100 dan E-199 gacha indekislanadigan qo’shimchalardir. Ulardan sanoatda oziq-ovqat tijorati sifatida foydalanib kelinmoqda.Istemolchilar shuni yodda tutish kerakki, tabiiy manbalarni suniy analoglar bilan almashtirish ishlab chiqaruvchilarga tan narxning arzonlashuviga olib keladi.Bunda mahsulot inson salomatligiga zararli tasir yetkazishi mumkin.
