Abstract

The article analyzes the current state of the water-physical properties of irrigated meadow-alluvial soils of the Zhambay district of the Samarkand region. The general physical properties of irrigated soils, indicators of maximum hygroscopic and fading moisture, moisture capacity, and the number of water-resistant aggregates directly affect their water, air, heat, and nutritional regimes. The presence of these factors at the optimal level leads to the growth and development of crops, and high yield.
