Abstract

Ability refers to readiness, the tendency to master a certain type of activity in different situations, as well as the speed and ease of mastering this activity. In the field of linguistics, we are talking about the ease of mastering the basics of the language: knowledge of linguistic units, combining words and the rules of sentence construction. This metaphorical term reflects the phenomenon of intuitive language acquisition, which is manifested in the understanding and use of idiomatic, lexical, stylistic and other linguistic constructions even before the purposeful acquisition of the language. Language sense is the ability to generalize knowledge at the level of primary generalization, without consciously separating the elements included in the generalization.
