COMPETENCE-BASED APPROACH TO EDUCATION AS AN INNOVATION IN THE EDUCATIONAL PROCESS

This article will focus on the development of competence-based approach during the teaching process. In the Concept for the Development of Uzbek Education from 2016 to 2020, a competency-based approach is singled out as “emphasizing the result of education, and the result is not the amount of learned information, but the ability of a person to act in various problem situations”. To determine the essence of the competency-based approach in education, we will analyze the concept of "competence" in it.
