The article reveals such concepts as “ethnopedagogy”, “ecological culture” and their content and qualities from the aspects of pedagogy, psychology and philosophy, as well as gives examples. In a complex set of problems characterizing the process of environmental education in modern conditions, the correlation of ethnoculture and environmental education, ethnopsychology, ethnopedagogy and the development of environmental culture of the individual stands out for its relevance.
