COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS OF LEGISLATION AIMED AT WATER MANAGEMENT AND CONSERVATION IN THE UK AND THE USA

This article provides a comparative analysis of the legislative framework for water management and conservation in the United Kingdom and the United States. The study examines the similarities and differences in the legal norms, institutional structures and policies for water resources management in both countries. While the United Kingdom has a centralized regulatory system, water management in the United States is carried out mainly at the state level. The article also analyzes the main laws aimed at protecting and conserving water resources, their effectiveness and existing problems. The results of the study can be used to develop effective legal mechanisms in the field of water management for Uzbekistan.
