Abstract

In an era where data-driven decision-making is transforming education, it is essential for future educators to develop strong research skills in data science. The ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data enables teachers to make informed pedagogical choices, personalize learning, and contribute to academic research. This paper explores strategies for cultivating data science competencies in teacher education programs, focusing on curriculum integration, hands-on learning experiences, technological applications, and ethical considerations. By fostering a data-literate teaching workforce, educational institutions can equip educators with the analytical tools necessary to improve student outcomes and adapt to the rapidly evolving educational landscape.
